Urgently needed renovation work on the structure of the car park and necessary repairs to ceilings, walls and cracked areas were included in the specifications of the client, Contipark. The damp leaks were also eliminated within the planned refurbishment period of three months. Finally, permanent protection against water penetration was applied and the so-called entrance spindle &#8211; the one with the new graffiti &#8211; was refurbished by removing the mastic asphalt, sealing it and applying the new asphalt.<\/p>\n<h3>New: ticketless parking for customers with a long-term parking contract<\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to modern licence plate recognition, access is now even easier for the 160 customers with a long-term parking contract. Ticketless parking is to be extended to all other parking options in the near future. Customers will then only have to enter their licence plate number at the pay station and pay the parking fee in cash or cashless. &#8220;Following the extensive refurbishment, Weinheim&#8217;s most modern car park is now open. However, much of the renovation and refurbishment work is barely visible at first glance. Only the modern car park systems immediately catch the eye. We are very pleased with the result and are delighted to be able to offer our customers safe, clean and inexpensive parking facilities again,&#8221; says Andreas Knops, member of the Contipark management board and head of property management. Contipark invested a total of over 400,000 euros in refurbishment and modern technology. &#8220;The modern underground car park on D\u00fcrreplatz fits in perfectly with the spirit of optimism within our retail sector. I am delighted that Contipark has made a precision landing. Weinheim now once again offers its full number of inexpensive and practical parking spaces in the centre of the city. One more reason to head for our city centre,&#8221; says Manuel Just, Lord Mayor of Weinheim.<\/p>\n<h3>Favourable Pcard rate per hour or part thereof also applies after the refurbishment in Weinheim<\/h3>\n<p>Despite the high level of investment, the parking charges were not adjusted at all or only moderately. The charge &#8220;per hour or part thereof&#8221; remains at one euro with the Pcard, the low-cost Contipark payment card, while the regular &#8220;hour or part thereof&#8221; now costs 1.50 euros (1.00 euro). The Pcard daily rate (0 to midnight) is 3.50 euros instead of 3.00 euros, the regular daily rate is 8.00 euros (7.00 euros). &#8220;Our corporate goal is to offer our customers a stable price structure and continuous service in the long term, which is why we also conclude long-term contracts or even operate our own car park facilities.
